The Jam factory is Melbourne’s leading hub for fashion, food and entertainment. I manage and create exciting content that demands attention and have successfully gained thousands of followers across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. They also draw upon my PR talents when required. This dynamic role has me working alongside brands; Topshop/Topman, Cue, Village Cinemas, Nando’s, Roll’d, Nashi and TGI Fridays, Nine West, The Groove Train to name a few.

I’m the Social Media Manager for Glen Waverley’s entertainment and dining capital! Creation of engaging and interesting content across the social networks; Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Social strategy to grow networks and promote the centre. Working with brands; Village Cinemas, The Pancake Parlour, Strike Bowling, Century City Tavern, Pescare Restaurant and Airstream Cafe to name a few.
I was on the PR & Marketing team, with complete control of all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and updated these with creative and catchy content with a view of driving traffic to the online store. Writing content for their blog, photography at events and always on the lookout for ways to build the brand through the media.
I also had got MIDAS Shoes featured in a fashion editorial piece on Chapel Street Precinct.

Chocolate City Clothing
PR & Communications Consultant at Melbourne’s leading fashion label Chocolate City. Started the role in January 2011. Handling social media including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, photography of new designs, driving traffic to website and online store, keeping the media informed of everything new, eNewsletters to database.
Below is one of the key media features I got for Chocolate City Clothing was a Spring Fashion two-page spread in the Stonnington Leader, it also featured two of my other clients; MIDAS Shoes and Capelli da GG Hair Spa & Salon. Plus I was also one of the models! Here are a couple of my pictures I snapped for their social media channels.

Role to implement fresh marketing concepts, updating of website, creation of social media strategy, eNewsletters, development of annual marketing calendar as well as copywriting of all marketing material and event planning.

Sweet Thrusday Productions
Handling of Public Relations for the first play by Sweet Thursday Productions as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Agenda included writing and distribution of press releases, photography and media liaison.
Gay Ski Week NZ, Queenstown. PR and Communications Manager
I helped to build this event to become the largest event of its kind in the southern hemisphere. Duties included: writing and building of E-commerce website, regular email to database, writing of press releases, securing and liaising with sponsors, creation and implementation of the social media strategy, media liaison (I have built a strong international database of editors). In 2010 we had 900 attendees for the week long event which included: red carpet events, group dinners, dance parties, cocktail parties, adventure themed days and ski days, to name just a few.

The Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill – PR and Communications Contractor
In March 2010 I started a freelance PR & Communications role at Southland’s leading conference and accommodation venue, the Ascot Park Hotel. Working directly with the General Manager I have prepared stylish newsletters for the staff, customers and business clients of the Hotel.
My communication material has proven results: I wrote and designed a 12 page document for Ascot Park Hotel which seen it become a finalist in the 2010 Hospitality Association of New Zealand’s Awards for Excellence.
