I was put on this planet to be creative.
My creative release began in Sydney when I arrived in 2002.
It was my passion for fashion that drew me to the world of style and feeling fabulous.
So I enrolled in a fashion design course, where I discovered a talent for creating stylish menswear.
I then set up business and continued to master my craft by designing and tailor making the garments myself. This is how I learnt what works, when it comes to fit and style.
My label quickly developed in the media spotlight after being named “Rising Star on the Sydney Fashion Scene” by “A fashionista’s Guide to Sydney”.
The business grew and I brought in manufacturers to cope with demand. I was selling from my Design Studio in the Sydney CBD, at the Paddington markets in Sydney and via stockists in New Zealand and Australia.
My sexy vision continued, with my designs displayed in numerous media publications.
In 2009 I added a new challenge to the mix.
Having always been a keen writer I decided to jump across the ditch to New Zealand and do a Journalism course at The Southern Institute of Technology (free fees). I seen this as the perfect year to pursue my other fashion passion – writing. I was quickly noticed by the local daily metropolitan newspaper, The Southland Times and I was filling two pages with local fashion and lifestyle news. In 2010 I continued my studies, began writing for New Zealand’s top website FashioNZ.co.nz and had top executives pursue me for my creative PR and Event Management skills.
I ventured to Melbourne in 2011 and found myself writing for top fashion publications including DNA Magazine and began to work as a PR consultant for top companies (visit my Creative Communications page for more info).
It is now 2012 and in Melbourne the style capital of Australia is where I will continue my creative journey.
My fashion label is still going strong and my media connections have taken me to a new level.
I MAKE IT HAPPEN!
